2026 Higher Education Compliance Conference

Share your expertise at the Higher Education Compliance Conference, to be held June 7–9, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. Establish yourself as a leader in the compliance community while supporting the professional development of your peers and colleagues. This conference provides a comprehensive look at compliance issues, trends, and strategies specific to institutions of higher education. It runs concurrently with the Research Compliance Conference, and sessions are open to attendees from both events.

Submission Dates:
Submissions will be accepted between October 1–31, 2025. Late submissions and applications not submitted through the online form will not be considered.

What to include in your submission

• Session Title
• Presenters and co-presenters: names, titles, organizations, and emails. Sessions with 1-2 presenters preferred; only a limited number of sessions involving 3 speakers will be accepted
• Biography of each presenter (no longer than 1 page each)
• Program Level
• Three brief learning objectives explaining what attendees will gain from your session (each bullet limited to 150 characters)
• A description of your session that will give us a better understanding of your proposal and what will be covered
• Session Format (Presentation, Panel, or Discussion Group)

Additional Information 

• Diverse perspectives amongst speakers (ie., consultants and clients presenting together, a variety of roles within an organization) is desired.
• With the exception of government speakers, preference will be given to speakers who are SCCE or HCCA Members.
• All breakout sessions are 60 minutes; pre-conference sessions are 90 minutes. If you would like to be consider for a longer time slot (pre- or post-conference), please make sure to check the box when submitting your proposal.
• Knowledge Levels Definitions: 
  • Basic - Program knowledge level most beneficial to Compliance Professionals new to a skill or an attribute. These individuals are often at the staff or entry level in organizations, although such programs may also benefit a seasoned professional with limited exposure to the area.
  • Intermediate - Program knowledge level that builds on a basic program, most appropriate for Compliance Professionals with detailed knowledge in an area. Such persons are often at a mid-level within the organization, with operational or supervisory responsibilities, or both.
  • Advanced - Program knowledge level most useful for individuals with mastery of the particular topic. This level focuses on the development of in-depth knowledge, a variety of skills, or a broader range of applications. Advanced level programs are often appropriate for seasoned professionals within organizations; however, they may also be beneficial for other professionals with specialized knowledge in a subject area.
