Dhananjay Gokhale - CIMS - My journey with SCCE has been more than professional development — it has been a transformation in the way I view ethics, compliance, and the responsibility I carry in our daily work.
Being part of the SCCE community has helped me build deeper and more independent knowledge in compliance and ethics. The high-quality sessions, insightful discussions, and practical learning shared by experienced trainers have continuously strengthened my understanding of real-world compliance challenges. Every conference, webinar, and training session has added a new layer of perspective that I now apply confidently in my day-to-day responsibilities.
SCCE has continuously inspired me to approach every responsibility with integrity, accountability, and a mindset of continuous improvement. The knowledge and perspectives gained through this community have helped me refine my work, strengthen decision-making, and reinforce the importance of ethics in building sustainable business practices.
Silpa Muni -When I first came across SCCE and the CCEP-I certification, I wasn’t just looking for a credential. I was looking for a language a structured, globally recognized framework that could articulate what I had been practicing instinctively across nearly a decade in compliance.
With over 9 years of experience across multinational pharmaceutical companies, I had built my practice around third-party due diligence, KYC/AML processes, vendor risk classification, and governance reporting. But preparing for the CCEP-I has been something different altogether. It has been a mirror.
The training modules didn’t just teach me compliance theory they made me pause and re-examine every process I run, every risk I flag, every conversation I have with a business partner. I found myself asking sharper questions: Is this control designed well, or just documented well? Is this third party truly screened, or merely checked?
The journey to CCEP-I has rewired the way I approach my daily work. Where I once saw a checklist, I now see a risk narrative. Where I once saw a vendor form, I now see a relationship that carries reputational weight. The SCCE curriculum has given me not just knowledge, but a compliance mindset — one that I carry into every meeting, every escalation, and every moment where ethics and business interests meet.
Being part of the SCCE community means belonging to a global network of professionals who believe that compliance is not a function sitting at the sidelines — it is the backbone of sustainable business. That belief is something I have held for years. SCCE gave it a home.
I am proud to be on this journey. And I look forward to the day I hold my CCEP-I — not as a destination, but as a milestone in a lifelong commitment to doing the right thing.

Attending my first SCCE Higher Education Compliance Conference in Orlando last year was especially impactful. Shermin D - I’ve been a member of SCCE & HCCA since 2013. At the time, I was looking for a way to deepen my understanding of compliance and stay current in a field that’s constantly changing. I didn’t expect it to become something I’d stay involved with for more than a decade, but it ended up being a really valuable part of my professional journey.
Over the years, I’ve learned a lot through conferences, webinars, publications, and conversations with other compliance professionals. What stood out to me most was hearing how people handled real situations in their organizations, not just theory or regulations on paper. Those shared experiences helped me think differently about compliance and how to approach challenges in a practical way.
Being part of SCCE & HCCA also gave me access to a community of people who genuinely care about doing things the right way. Compliance work can be demanding and sometimes isolating, so it was helpful to connect with others who understood the pressures and responsibilities that come with the role.
Looking back, staying a member since 2013 reflects my commitment to continued learning and professional growth. The field has changed a lot over the years, and SCCE & HCCA has been one of the constants that helped me stay informed, grounded, and connected throughout that time.
